DANIEL N. JANICH APPOINTED TO THE BOARD OF THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR EMPLOYEE OWNERSHIP
Chicago, January 4, 2007 - Daniel N. Janich, founder and managing principal of Janich Law Group, was appointed to the 21-member board of the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), effective immediately. The NCEO is a professional organization whose mission is to provide objective, reliable information about broad-based employee ownership. The NCEO, established in 1980, offers to its 3,500 plus members an extensive list of publications, workshops, and conferences, covering broad-based stock option plans as well as ESOPs. Board members include business owners, attorneys, consultants and other professionals involved in advancing the cause of employee ownership.
With over 20 years of legal experience in the field, Mr. Janich provides his corporate and individual clients comprehensive, practical solutions to their executive compensation, employee benefit and wealth planning issues. As a Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel, he is nationally recognized as a leader in the field of employee benefits law. Mr. Janich currently serves as an Associate Senior Editor of Employee Benefits Law, a legal treatise published by the Bureau of National Affairs, and as Co-Chair of the Reporting and Disclosure Subcommittee of the American Bar Association Section of the Labor and Employment Law Employee Benefits Committee. He is a former Chair of the Employee Benefits Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. Mr. Janich has written numerous journal articles and book chapters on employee benefits and executive compensation issues, and is a frequent speaker at annual meetings of bar associations and professional organizations, and at civic and charitable functions.
