Daniel Janich was quoted in the August 2003 issue of HR Magazine in an article entitled “Out of Options? Stock Options May Be Out of Favor, But the Benefits of Employee Ownership Never Go Out of Style.” This article discusses the compensation trend away from stock options and toward multi-tiered equity compensation programs.

In the article Mr. Janich warns that “there’s no magic bullet” available for companies to use in revamping their equity compensation program in that each equity vehicle has its own unique advantages and disadvantages.
